I checked my bank statement today, and I had to sit down. I’ve spent $700 dollars on food, in the past 30 days. That’s not restaurant, fast food places, just grocery stores. I am opening my mind to new foods and searching for different things that I can fall in love with. It’s been awesome! But, unless I start clipping coupons, it’s going to put me in the po’ house. I have to rain my grocery shopping in. I’ve learned enough to keep me going for a while, or before I get bored. I’ll have another post coming, about my past Sundays. It’s the day, I am busy in the kitchen mixing and matching different recipes and products. This past Sunday was Brussels sprouts and Halibut. Ummm.. yeah… that’s forthcoming. If you are a Halibut eater, then you probably already know what I am referring to. It was good, but it will be a once every other month fish.
Eating healthy is not cheap, if you are not accustom to healthy eating; if it isn’t as foreign to you as it is too me. I am retraining my brain and palette, and o’lord its expensive!
